ADVOCACY :: Council

The goal of the Advocacy & Regulatory Affairs initiative is to establish a single voice advocating to and for Northeast Ohio manufacturers.  MAGNET must use its voice to assist regional manufacturers in achieving a more level competitive playing field, especially at the community level.  MAGNET must also cause companies to understand the imperative to quickly adopt new manufacturing and business approaches to survive.

Advocacy Council Mission Statement

  • Serve as the “voice” of manufacturing in northeast Ohio, advocating for manufacturers at the local and regional level, influencing public policy, and dealing with the multiple regulatory agencies.
  • Advocate the value of and the participation in the manufacturing economy to governmental, educational, community and youth constituencies.
  • Encourage Northeast Ohio manufacturers to adopt the most modern business and manufacturing strategies and techniques.
