The JobMagnet.org advanced manufacturing employment portal served Northeast Ohio employers, job seekers and students from June 2007 through December 2008. MAGNET thanks the hundreds of employers and job seekers who have used the JobMagnet.org database over the past 18 months.

Job Boards

Ohio Means Jobs

This new service is a partnership of the State of Ohio, Monster.com and Indeed.com and features enhanced recruitment and job search services. Employers gain free access to millions of resumes for skilled Ohio workers and can post jobs for free on hundreds of job boards. Job seekers can view postings from more than 8,000 job boards and Ohio-based employer web sites.

Wire-Net Works: Worksource

WIRE-Net’s fee-based WorkSource program helps companies shorten the lead time for finding qualified candidates. WIRE-Net rates may save companies at least 30% on hiring costs.

CES Career and Employment Center

The non-profit Cleveland Engineering Society (CES) connects the Northeast Ohio engineering community. The CES' Career and Employment Center offers free resume postings and job listings right now, but may be fee-based in the future.

Metal Forming Job Center

This partnership of the Precision Metalforming Association and the PMA Educational Foundation connects job seekers with employers in the metal stamping, forming, fabricating and tool & die industries all over the country. Resume postings and job searches are free to job seekers. Employers pay a fee to post jobs.

Internships and Co-ops

Neointern.net

NEOintern.net, formerly ClevelandIntern.net, helps Northeast Ohio employers find interns from all over the world. Since 2005, student participation has expanded to virtually all Northeast Ohio higher education institutions. Hundreds of students attending schools outside of Northeast Ohio have found internships through the database.

The Northeast Ohio Dream !t Do !t Program

The NEO Dream !t Do !t program collects a wide variety of career resources for young people interested in learning about the advanced manufacturing industry in Northeast Ohio. Resources include video of plant tours and testimonials.
