Dave Karpinski, Vice President of Technology Innovation, Nortech:

Dave Karpinski joined NorTech in May 2007 and currently leads a team from Nortech and MAGNET responsible for the Innovation Accelerator, a program foster innovation in the manufacturing sector in Northeast Ohio. Additional responsibilities include NorTech’s initiatives to promote growth in the electronics sector. He also leads Ohio ICE, an industry association serving the electronics industry in the region, encompassing the areas of controls, instrumentation, electronics, optics, biomedical devices, and others.

Prior to joining NorTech, Karpinski was Director of Engineering for Demag Plastics Group, a Strongsville-based plastic injection molding machinery manufacturer where he led international design teams developing the latest injection molding machines and control systems. He brings more than 20 years experience in a wide variety of sectors within the manufacturing industry including controls, plastics, rubber, primary metals, metal forming, defense and services. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
