Client # 1: As a result of meeting with the management of a molded rubber products company to discuss options for training their internal team in quality problem resolution, MAGNET recommended a specific on-site training and coaching approach. A cross-functional team of twelve staff were trained/coached in Quality Problem Resolution and Basic Quality tools. Coaching was conducted with a focus on a specific part family. Training included a tool kit to provide basic guidance in data measurement and analysis. This helped to identify root causes of problems and to improve process and product quality.
Result: The team collaborated on root cause analysis and developed a plan of action to eliminate and prevent problems from recurring. Overall, the company has become more effective in problem resolution and process improvement in their two facilities.

Client # 2: Our metal heat treating client needed to develop, implement and become registered to an ISO9001:2000 quality management system that would help to exceed customer requirements and improve internal processes and the bottom line.
MAGNET QMS experts reviewed the company’s existing processes and conducted a gap assessment. An overall plan was developed for the design, training and implementation of the system process and documentation. The project included internal auditor training and coaching the new process owners throughout the implementation and certification process.
