Washington—The Manufacturing Insitute (an arm of the National Association of Manufacturers) published an updated edition of its survey of the manufacturing sector in the U.S. The 64-page publication contains statistics, charts and graphs setting out the strengths and challenges manufacturing faces today and clearly demonstrates the central place manufacturing holds in the nation's economy.
